Three down, two to go as we welcome Day 4 of the Punchestown Festival. We once again have four graded races today which includes the Grade 1 Paddy Power Champion Hurdle where Super Mare Honeysuckle looks unbeatable once more. State Man is the favourite for the Alanna Homes Champion Novice Hurdle, which looks more competitive than than the former. There are 8 races in all.

I always/most of the time pick four horses per race that I think will run respectively, Well good enough to place/show at least. Here will be no different, Hopefully we’ll find a few winners & at decent prices too!
Day 3 – Quick Summary
Klassical Dream (2.1) travelled strongly & stayed on well to beat Ashdale Bob (6.5) in the Grade 1 Ladbrokes Champion Stayers Hurdle. Blue Lord (3.0) like Klassical Dream travelled strongly but had more of a fight on his hand as Coeur Sublime (21.0) ran on & battled well in the closing stages in the Grade 1 Barberstown Castle Novice Chase. The former just did enough, making it another Grade 1 double for champion Irish trainer Willie Mullins & jockey Paul Townend.
(Yesterday, We had 1 winner & 3 places. Blue Lord 3.0 won & Mt Leinster 4.5, Singing Banjo 7.5, Western Zara 10.0 placed.)
