We once again have five graded races including the Grade 1 Irish Mirror Novice Hurdle, Ladbrokes Punchestown Gold Cup, Race & Stay at Punchestown Champion I.N.H Flat Race & OMC Claims Handicap Chase where the likes of race favourites The Nice Guy, Allaho, Facile Vega & Ciel De Neige will be fighting off all challengers respectively. There are 8 races in all.

I always/most of the time pick four horses per race that I think will run respectively, Well good enough to place/show at least. Here will be no different, Hopefully we’ll find a few winners & at decent prices too!
Day 1 – Quick Summary
Mighty Potter (21.0) caused an upset in the Grade 1 Bective Stud Champion Novice Hurdle as he beat rank outsider Gatsbt Grey (101.0). Race favourite Sir Gerhard (1.53) only could manage third. Energumene (1.53) backed up his Cheltenham Queen Mother Champion Chase win by beating nearest challenger & fellow stable mate Chacun Poi Soi (3.5)in the Grade 1 William Hill Champion Chase. Finally, second-favourite Lifetime Ambition (163.0) in the Dooley Insurance Group Champion Novice Chase. Race favourite & fortunate Cheltenham Festival winner Bob Olinger (2.2) was very disappointing, well beaten before being pulled up three out.
